Yes. The Arts for Autism Benefit Concert is open to the public, and tickets are typically released in March for the June performance. Once tickets become available, ADX Academy will notify participants and families and provide a direct link to the box office.

Parents and family who participate in the experience are guaranteed a ticket to the show.

Please note: This event often sells out. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets as early as possible to secure the best available seating.

Yes. Families are welcome to extend their stay in New York before or after the official ADX Academy experience. If you choose to make your own travel arrangements, we recommend not purchasing the Airfare + Airport Transfer Add-On, as those services are designed specifically for participants traveling with the group on the scheduled itinerary.

Please keep in mind:

• Participants must check in with the group at the designated time.
• Performers are required to stay with the group and in assigned group accommodations during the official experience.
• Participants will be officially released at the conclusion of the program, after which families may continue their personal travel plans.
• Any transportation, lodging, or activities outside the official ADX Academy itinerary are the responsibility of the participant and their family.

We strongly encourage performers to discuss and confirm roommate preferences before registering. Roommate requests should be coordinated in advance whenever possible.

Your director will have access to rooming assignments and can help place performers based on submitted requests. Changes to room assignments after final rooming lists are created may result in additional administrative or hotel-related fees.

Not sure who your roommates will be yet? We recommend selecting Triple Occupancy during registration. If your plans change later, we can often adjust your room type and either upgrade accommodations or refund the difference, depending on availability.

Absolutely. Your group will be accompanied by the ADX Academy team leader and a dedicated Tour Manager from arrival through departure. Your Tour Manager serves as the group's primary point of contact and handles the day-to-day logistics so directors, performers, and families can focus on enjoying the experience. They assist with:

• Airport arrivals and departures
• Transportation coordination
• Daily schedules and logistics
• Hotel coordination
• Activity and attraction management
• Local recommendations and support

Think of them as your group's knowledgeable New York expert who is there to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We know that food is an important part of any travel experience. Our team works closely with restaurants and group dining partners to provide meal options that are enjoyable, convenient, and appropriate for student groups.

Whenever possible, we will communicate planned dining locations and meal arrangements in advance so families know what to expect before traveling.

We also make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies when communicated ahead of time.

All ADX Academy groups stay in reputable hotels selected by our travel partner and experience team. For groups seeking additional supervision, overnight security services may be available for an additional fee.

These services can provide added peace of mind for directors, parents, and performers by helping monitor group areas and ensuring participants remain safe and accounted for during overnight hours.

The health and well-being of our participants is extremely important to us. During the onboarding stage, families will have the opportunity to provide information regarding:

Our team will communicate relevant dietary and accessibility information to our travel partners, restaurants, hotels, and activity providers whenever possible. While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate participant needs, families should understand that restaurants, hotels, transportation providers, and performance venues may have limitations beyond our control.
